Getting Started with the HOERWACHE radio station

How to get started with the HOERWACHE radio station?

The easiest way to begin is by opening the program as a ship station and selecting a route in Central Europe.
While it is possible to position your ship anywhere in the world, please note that since the program operates in real-time, doing so would mean sailing aimlessly in the open ocean for days without hearing anything but noise on the receiver. Europe has the most coastal radio stations with regular broadcasts.

The following steps will quickly lead to success:

1. Select the “Radio Station – Work as Ship-Station” option.
On the first access to the radio station, you will need to confirm the use of cookies. Without this confirmation, access to the radio station is not possible.

2. Fill out the displayed input form.
Entering at least one call sign is mandatory, while all other data can be inherited. Make sure that a route/sub-route in Europe is displayed.

Afterward, you will arrive at the radio station. The receiver is already set to 500 kHz, making the station ready for reception immediately.
